Whoo! Graduate school has been busy, but also it has been very fruitful. I also got the fall garden in and finally learned to type correctly. I had been finger typing for years and it was proving awful for just about anything. I’ve found that touch typing is much faster and much better because you can see what you are typing as you type it. This leads to less misspelling and is much faster overall.
Other than that I’ve been busy, and so I wrote a short poem below. It felt damn good to write it.
A curve is a secret of lofty intentions spread on the pavement
String cheese and confetti full of bright lips mutters this while drinking coffee
Something like a streaked line, and then you feel the vapor
Weekly whispers of mealy mouth birds at the window
dim plastic on the grain
Robitussin red probes
Filters and instead for today
