Nutz to the Democratic party.
I want to see the people, metaphorically of course, burn down the Wells Fargo center and the DNC in Philadelphia.
I wouldn’t want a literal fire, Brother Cornel West and innocent people will be in the building.
The point is, democrats don’t deserve our support and we shouldn’t legitimize the Democratic party by holding our nose and voting for Hillary.
I am right about 2016 being a no candidate year.
This is a controversial issue because, in part, Chomsky declared that voting for any party other than the democrats is equivalent to voting for Trump -in swing states.
I understand how he frames the voting situation, but I think that people should start to vote politically which means not voting for a candidate they genuinely don’t want in office. To Chomsky, the risk of Trump is far too great. To me, I think we’re at the point of psychological and physical collapse already, and that we might seriously benefit by starting to take a stance on our identity as citizens. We have little to gain, it seems, from acquiesce. Why not risk it all and vote for who I want instead of a candidate shoved on me by a process that is plainly incredible.
Flagrant use of power positions has revealed the undemocratic tendency of the democratic Party. Primaries, for instance, should be antithetical to the current inverted totalitarian corporate sponsored theater. The voting problems that mar these large elections have been significant enough to garner immense suspicion. And don’t forget, there was a real blocking of candidates from participating in democratic debates. Those debates, which were scheduled at particularly bad times, then had wall to wall reporting that was “highly suspect” at best. If a viewer is honest, simply honest, then they should agree that the entire DNC process reeks of deliberate psychological and physical manipulation in favor of a power elites, a bought Congress.
I could go on for a year, but let me just say that Hillary is not for me. My vote will probably go green in Florida. Hillary, she’s for the deepest pockets and business as usual.
I don’t want to march into the shadows.
June 14th update: I’m not inciting violence, I’m a pacifist. I don’t encourage people to literally burn down venues. Work towards peace, everyone.
